Using clean questions that take the conversation inwards, digging beneath
the surface i.e. questions that use the participant’s own words,
those that require an internal search for the response and in so doing
produce more than one answer.
Bringing out the emotional, in particular, as well as the practical.
Questions that challenge and test but always in a thought-provoking
and comfortable way for participants.
Some people are more verbal, some are more visual so it’s often
necessary to use a mix of techniques to enable people to access and
express their core values and beliefs. |
